Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Operation Christmas Child

A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children's lives all over the world in Jesus' Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child.  Every year RHUMC donates 30 shoeboxes to children around the world.

Church World Service

We support the initiatives of Church World Service by donating health kits, school kits, and blankets for those in need throughout the world.

Blessing of the Animals

A Saturday in October draws many with their furry friends and no so furry to be blessed.  All animals big and small are welcome.

A free will donation is collected to support the Protector of Animals.  Donations of pet food and bedding are welcome.

Nickels for Nicaragua

Everything they do in Nicaragua involves community participation. They have significant community organizations in each village and do all of our work through these groups. Their work is focused on four areas, healthcare, education, economic development and housing.
